Position Overview

  • You will be actively involved in developing and implementing Production Machines Application business development strategy to ensure retention of existing customers and development of new OEMs resulting sustained growth within a defined geography (Region).
  • You will assist regional sales team when selecting Siemens HW for the appropriate competitive solutions. The incumbent will also be responsible developing new business opportunities in his or her area.
  • You will act as technical expert for Siemens solutions in various PMA Segments like Printing, Packaging, Plastics, Metal Forming, Textile, Handling & WGCS.
  • The Incumbent should be able to conduct technical discussions with customers on machinery design aspects in order to recommend best suited Automation & Motion control products/solutions.
  • The business developer has responsibility to manage key programs for PMA application promotions within his regions.
  • Drive digital transformation at Customers proposing unique portfolio of automation and digitalization technologies from Siemens
  • The incumbent is also responsible to reach end customers and create PULL for the Siemens Solutions. He should create professional associations with end users to find Market information.
  • The incumbent should reach to various local Machine manufacturing associations for obtaining membership and developing professional relationship.
  • Identifies key synergies between customer and other Siemens organizations to determine and capitalize on business opportunities. Establishes and manages relationships with executive-level management within key & large accounts.
  • Analyzes customer´s market, business targets & strategy, issues, needs, processes, value chain and key business drivers and effectively transfers this knowledge to the Siemens organizations and Regions.
  • Responsible for developing channel Partners for the PMA applications.
     

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:

  • Must have more than 10+ years of demonstrated ability in the Machine Building industry / Production Machinery domain.
  • Demonstrates significant knowledge of organization’s business practices and issues faced and contributes to problem solving techniques. Excellent in communication and presentation skills.
  • Should be able to communicate with the customer in their language to promote PMA Applications.
