The Application Analyst supports deployment and maintenance of software applications in line with the strategy and objectives of the PMO (Program Management Office). In this role you ensure that the integral processes and applications are aligned with the Philips IT landscape. You will work closely together with the (Image Guided Therapy) IGT organization in the Netherlands and India.

Key areas of responsibility are:

  • Develop metrics and perform analyzes to monitor process compliance. Inform the organization about progress and improvement opportunities.
  • Being able to identify and drive structural process improvements based on data.
  • Perform financial checks required for project management (based on data in SAP, stakeholder inputs and other applications.)
  • Key user of the Software Application PTC Windchill (used in the project management domain). Knowledge on the following applications is an advantage QlikView / SAP PS / Clarity)
    • Monitor and control the use of these applications, actively take corrective actions if applicable.
    • Maintain the standard processes related to these applications, solve issues, execute and validate new installations and configurations.  Guide and deploy customization of processes and applications.
    • Provide training to the application users.
  • Gather information and (best) practices. Develop training material. Provide guidance and support. 
  • Develop capabilities, knowledge and expertise of the team by coaching and training the employees.
  • Cooperate with relevant stakeholders across the IGT organization and the central Philips team.

You are a part of the IGTS Program Support Office (PSO). The objective of the PSO is to support cross-functional IGT systems PMO projects that bring Image Guided Therapy innovations to the market. The PSO sets the standard for project management tools, reporting templates, KPI’s and processes. The PSO team consists of assistant project managers, application and data analysts and specialists for project management processes.

The IGTS PSO is led by the PSO leader, who reports into the PMO leader. The PMO team is tasked to successfully bring new product innovations to the market. This includes product development, validation, regulatory approvals, commercial launch, production ramp up and service introduction.

 

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Proven experience with PTC Windchill (software for Product life cycle management). 
  • Bachelor or Master degree (e.g. Business Administration or information technology)
  • Strong Customer focus: Help customers to meet their needs. Translate customer needs in solutions and provide clear work instructions and process overviews. You need to have the ability to train users in an effective way in using the applications.
  • This role requires an accurate, organized and structured approach. You need to deliver reliable and accurate on assigned tasks. You should be able to follow up with project team members on their commitment by giving constructive feedback and guidance;
  • Analyze data from different applications, create up to date key performance indicators and define conclusions aligned with intended audience. Being able to drive structural improvements based on data.
  • Affinity with Excel and the applications described in the Key area of Responsibility, with a proven ability to process data in a structured/maintainable way.
  • Conceptual understanding of business processes and different project management methodologies.
  • Flexibility and positive attitude towards change is important to ensure we can continuously improve our performance.
  • Dynamic and enthusiastic team player who can drive actions, eager, ambitious and self-propelling. You need to be able to provide solutions in a challenging & complex environment;
  • Good communication skills (written / verbal) in English.
