What You Will Achieve
Working with a dynamic team of Logistics and Supply Chain experts, you will play a critical role in planning, issuing, and managing production schedules. With your planning skills, you will manage the material supply and demand to ensure a controlled flow of approved material and equipment based on the production and inventory requirements. Your coordination skills will help in interdepartmental planning activities with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, inventory control, traffic etc. You will also be ensuring a controlled flow of approved materials timed to meet production requirements. You will support in deployment of Supply chain planning and scheduling within the group and ensure all team goals are met while developing talent.
As a Manager, your breadth of knowledge on internal or external business challenges will help us improve our products, processes, and services. Your will guide us to lead projects by meeting objectives and preparing forecasts for resource requirements. Your risk-taking ability will help us advance new concepts and methodologies. You will provide technical guidance and oversight to team members and help in problem solving. You will provide technical guidance, coaching and oversight to team members to fulfill their day to day responsibilities and will also manage their overall development by arranging training and development programs.

How You Will Achieve It
- Manage multiple projects and ongoing work activities within the department typically involving cross-functional representatives.
- Provides technical, functional guidance and oversight to team members within the department.
- Prepare analysis of distributed supply requirements for cross-site discussion.
- Plan, implement and execute purchasing and inventory plans for raw materials, components, and other materials to minimize material costs while adhering to production schedule, meeting current Good
- Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and customer service requirements.
- Manage and optimize the balance of raw material inventory required to support the production facility across the supply chain network.
- Prepare purchase orders for raw materials, material management and demand management in Enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, support data integrity and the development of system improvements.
- Work with network stakeholders to resolve demand signal issues and track adherence, maintain, update, evaluate and communicate the site’s long range volume forecast and capacity analysis.
- Provide quarterly updates to Network owners and frequent updates to site leadership and other stakeholders.
- Monitor receipts and transfers ensuring timely delivery and availability of product in accordance with the inventory plan.
- Develop, monitor, and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to drive internal logistics and functional performance improvements.
- Support internal compliance team and Regulatory agencies during audits, provide technical assistance during investigations in order to segregate materials.
- Develop an environment focused on compliance, on time training, efficient Corrective Action Preventive Actions (CAPA) closure and timely corrective actions.
- Manage the performance of direct reports through goal setting, ongoing assessment, and coaching.
- Support and engage in the development of talent and capabilities of your team members and seek out training & development assignments for individuals who are capable of advancing to other positions.
Qualifications
Must-Have
- Graduate/PG in Pharmacy, Engg Graduate, Science PG
- Min 14 year of experience preferably in Pharma/FMCG
- Strong analytical, presentation and organizational skills.
- Good Knowledge in System Application & Products.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools and Enterprise resource planning (ERP) applications -SAP and SAP-APO
- People management experience.
Nice-to-Have
- Master’s degree and relevant pharmaceutical experience.
- Business Management
- Good Knowledge of Supply chain practices and Material Requirements Planning (MRP).
- Functional knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) requirements.
- Good Knowledge of operational and financial analysis.
- Six Sigma / Lean management certification.
