Position Summary:

The Digital Marketing Manager is an integral part of the India marketing team and International Digital team. This person drives the digital strategy in the market to ensure that online media efforts best support the marketing initiative and business objectives.

The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for the planning, execution, and reporting of all digital marketing campaigns across all platforms (Social, Search, programmatic, Influencers, E-commerce). This person knows the Monster Energy brand and can effectively and credibly manage brand presence online, maintaining a consistent tone of voice across all owned platforms while continuing to be relevant to the Indian consumer.

Essential Job Functions:

Media Buying: Execution and expansion of all paid media including but not limited to; social, search, programmatic, E-com, PR, and can optimize on them at scale.

  • Drive innovation and creativity in media buying across trending platforms, in a timely manner.
  • Comfortable creating campaigns yourself to drive awareness, engagement, and conversion.

Content Marketing: Develop and execute digital marketing and content distribution strategies for Monster Energy India; build content briefs for agencies, provide feedback on storyboards and drive content optimization through measurement and reporting.

  • Stays up to date with competitor and category campaigns in the market and across the Globe. Gets excited to bring new, creative, campaign, and content ideas to the table.

Influencers:  Deliver successful influencer programs and partnerships to expand Monster energy brand presence in the market. Leveraging on-brand and locally relevant, authentic relationships.

E-commerce: Experience working with third-party E-com sites. Plan, develop and optimize organic and paid efforts on eCommerce channels to further drive online sales.

Reporting and Analysis: Compile and distribute regular reports to internal and bottler teams; utilize data to evaluate campaign efficacy; evaluate internal and competitive digital campaign performances to determine each promotion’s success and areas of opportunity/growth.

Partner Management: Support and manage relationships with key digital partners in India; liaise with key agency contacts as well as distribution partners to execute digital campaigns and marketing initiatives. 

Influencers Management: Lead Influencer strategy for the Indian market.

Social Media: Responsible for the brand voice across all online platforms in India. Produce and post-digital content on India-owned social media channels.

  • Be the digital “eyes and ears” of the brand and continue to build an overall reputation that is aligned with company branding guidelines and policies.
  • Participation and moderation of online conversations pertaining to the brand, answer comments, concerns, and questions.

Website: Manage the localized CMS for India; creation of promotion and news pages, optimizing the site for SEO, editing headers for local relevance.

Position Requirements:

  • 5+ years In Digital marketing on the agency or brand side.
  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written. Hindi both spoken and written preferred.
  • Strategic thinker with a track record in delivering successful digital marketing programs and campaigns.
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, advertising, public relations, media studies, business, and/or related fields.
  • Must be focused, self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, continually changing environment.
  • You are comfortable operating independently and efficiently to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously and successfully, without sacrificing attention to detail.
  • Equally content obsessed as you are analytically minded.
  • A proven ability to take initiative and be proactive.
  • Familiarity with the nuances, differences, and cultural attributes of the Indian market.
  • Knowledge of the major social media networks and trends including their design, technology, functionality, and users.
  • Comprehensive understanding of how social media impacts brands and how it relates to delivering business objectives.
  • Ability to work well and communicate within a team.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Experience with website management software.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Intermediate graphic design experience: Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects a plus.
