Job Overview: 

As a part of the Global Procurement Digital & Analytics team the individual will be responsible for analyzing internal and external market data to make recommendations and provide actionable guidance to sourcing teams and business stakeholders based on changing market conditions. She or He will enable business transparency by partnering with key stakeholders within Procurement and Supply Chain Finance functions.

Main Responsibilities

• Provide business transparency by partnering with key stakeholders within Procurement and Supply Chain Finance functions.
• Understand how changing external market dynamics may impact the cost of material sourcing and its downstream impact on products, divisions and customers. Provide proactive insights to market drivers and changes influencing material costs.
• Mine and analyze data across multiple ERP systems to deliver key insights, make recommendations, generate meaningful outputs, and convey structural opportunities. Prepare price variance analysis and identification of drivers.
• Capture commodity market data and create comprehensive market summaries that will aid in sourcing strategies.
• Experience building operational reports, KPIs and dashboards. Support testing and development of Global sponsored projects.
• Position will take direction and collaborate closely with US based counterparts requiring some flexibility to working hours.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• 5+ years of experience in data & analytics within procurement, marketing, R&D, engineering, finance or supply chain
   

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Pattern recognition, Identifying outliers and measuring variance with proven ability to convey knowledge and insights
• Experience with managing and delivering multiple projects, tasks, and initiatives simultaneously
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written, including the ability to present to organizational leaders
• Experience in the petrochemical industry a plus
