What role will you play as a member of the Colgate’s Information Technology team?

The candidate is responsible for business facing support & development for various applications in the Finance area (Planning & Analytics). The role requires the person to act as an expert for the global business processes within the function, lead the execution of different projects activities and ensure the smooth execution of critical business processes.

The person will be required to collaborate with business teams / technical teams and IT counterparts for daily support incidents and project activities in different business areas across all geographies.

Ability to understand the requirements related to business problems and transform that into a solution design

Who are you? 
You are a functional expert:

Providing robust IT solution to business within support SLA
Collaborate within application teams and other GIT partners
Handle Production Support and issues coming from the ongoing Budgeting process on SAP Analytics Cloud.
Support analytics designer applications with Javascript skills to handle custom widgets and stories on SAC.
Participate in process and functional/technical design activities
Perform analysis of as-is and to-be processes for new requirements.
Build functional and technical requirements as an input to application design
Participate in application building, testing, and deployment activities
Build ad hoc data actions and stories to handle exceptions and Support the business in handling exceptions on their dataset
Building and maintaining systems for financial reporting and audit compliance.
 

What you’ll need (Required)

Bachelor’s degree in Engineer with 5+ years of experience
In depth knowledge of any one areas in BW-IP , SAC , BPC
Business process knowledge in Finance (Budgeting & Planning)
Strong oral & written communication skills
Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve problems logically
Ability to seek and identify root cause
Should be flexible and adaptable to new technologies
 

  What you’ll need (Preferred)

Master’s degree in Business administration (IT, Operations, Finance)
Knowledge of analysis & application of SAP, S/4 HANA, snowflake
Knowledge of the ECC process – Finance (P&L structure, balance sheet planning, costing)
