Main Purpose of the Position :
The role will be part of the CBS Analytics team and support the Europe Projects around RMS, Household
Panel and Media data. She/he will support the Europe Business teams with their Data and Analytics needs.
The role involves analysis and visualization of RMS, Panel and Media data along with Internal data and
other data sources. The incumbent must have worked on insights projects with effective written and oral
communication with business stakeholders.

Primary Accountabilities :
❑ Providing Analytics solutions and data for the Marketing teams – Ad-hocs and scheduled
❑ Supporting Mid year and Budget reviews
❑ Liaising with External data providers on day to day data needs
❑ Working with Europe IT team in CP for development and maintenance
❑ Create standard reports per agreed SLAs and respond to ad hoc requests for reporting and first level
analysis.
❑ Anticipating and identifying consumer insight information needs in collaboration with internal business
partners and proactively based on knowledge of market and products.
❑ Proactively provide market and consumer insight to support the business teams with recommendations
wherever required.
❑ Ready to work collaboratively with business partners across geographies

Performance/Skill Criteria:
Mandatory:
❑ Experience with third-party data i.e., syndicated market data, Point of Sales, etc.
❑ Intermediate knowledge of Excel (i.e., standard functions – aggregation, pivots, look ups, etc.)
❑ High level of comfort with large sets of data and attend to detail s and passion for accuracy
❑ Problem-solver, with analytic thinking and ability to apply root cause analysis
❑ Ability to prioritize multiple work assignments and meet deadlines
❑ Effective written and oral communication.
❑ Knowledge of Word and PowerPoint
❑ Good listening and collaboration skills

Good to Have:
❑ Knowledge of data processing & Visualization tools (R / Python / Tableau)
❑ Working knowledge of consumer packaged goods industry
❑ Understanding of Colgate’s processes, and tools supporting analytics (for internal candidates)
❑ Willingness and ability to experiment with new tools and techniques
❑ Good facilitation and project management skills
❑ Ability to maintain personal composure and tactfully handle difficult situations.

Experience and Education:

• Bachelor of Engineering / Sciences 
• 3 plus years of work experience
• Proficient in Reporting and/or Budgeting
