This is the Technical Support Specialist role,You will be reporting to Engineering Manager in Bangalore. You will be the first point of contact for Motion – Large Motors & Generators products, you will provide technical support to ABB customers/end users, sales channel, product management teams, and services. You need to use your customer service skills and knowledge to aid the administrative team by reacting to sales/customer inquiries.

Your responsibilities 

  • Provide technical support for common problems related to the application of large motors and generators.
  • Delivering effective solutions to internal customers, sales, and project management Teams with Pre-order-related queries by coordinating with internal resources to resolve the issue.
  • Monitoring the status of pre orders support requests and ensuring that technical inquiries are resolved and aiding in any necessary escalation.
  • Observing the overall process and trends across inquiries and identifying improvement areas.
  • Required to provide technical support during the post order executions.
     

Your background

  • Graduate Degree or Diploma from a reputed institution.
  • Required 7 years of related experience with graduate degree or and 9 years of related experience with diploma.
  • Should have advance understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals as applied to rotating electric machineries.
  • Should have advance understanding of serial communication protocols.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings.
  • Should have ability to respond to common inquiries from customers and an understanding functionally safety and how to apply.
