Job Description
- Pack Price Architecture: Support the development of Consumer & Shopper Pack Price Architecture, driving optimal, insights based Packs & Prices for each occasion & channel.
- Promotion Strategy: Support defining a clear channel & customer promotion strategy, setting the guiderails, identifying the optimal offer, establishing the frequency in order to deliver the targeted Consumer Value, Effectiveness and Profitability.
- Max the Mix: Identify Mix ‘Drags & Drivers’ within the portfolio and provide clear recommendations on the most optimal commercial strategy and game plan to maximize the Mix.
- Trade Terms: Work with Sales Management, Finance and Commercial teams to support building an optimal commercial strategy by customer/channel and by product including customer margins structure and counterparts
- Pricing: Determine annual Pricing rates which is informed by appropriate external & competitive benchmarks
- Manage expectations through verbal and written interactions with division, sector and sales functions
- Ensure delivery of accurate and timely data in accordance with agreed service level agreements (SLA)
- Work across multiple functions to aid in collecting insights for action-oriented cause of change analysis
- Ability to focus against speed of execution and quality of service delivery rather than achievement of SLAs
- Recognize opportunities and take action to improve delivery of work
- Implement continued improvements and simplifications of processes, standardization of reporting and optimal use of technology
- Scale-up operation in-line with business growth, both within existing scope, as well as new areas of opportunity

Qualifications/Requirements
- +5 years of experience in Sales/Sales Management/Revenue Managmeent
- Applicant must be immediately credible in strategy & have experience building executable commercial/financial strategy in a CPG environment.
- Experience within strong top-tier consulting or Prior Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) company experience required
- Very strong analytical skills – excellent competency in MS Excel is a must, as is experience of managing complex, incomplete & inconsistent datasets and defining strategic analytics (market sizing/growth forecasts etc).
- Deep grounding in analytical logic and ability to translate complex data into powerful insight
- Intellectual curiosity and ability to problem solve / search out facts / engage internal & external contacts to source data without prior detailed process/guidance
