Position Overview:
The role will be responsible to serve as the strategic interface with BIG Center Supply Chain function as well as with the BIG Supply Chain teams in the markets for developing the technology strategy, solution discovery, service management and relationship management.
He/she will drive IT strategy, solution architecture and deployment roadmap for core processes in Supply Chain
- Digital Factory – integrating the machine data and core business processes, enabling predictive analytics for production uptimes, and reducing manual labor using Industrial IoT
- Supply & Operations planning process – Implementation of Blue Yonder to streamline the S&OP process. Design additional analytics capability to support the process
- Digitize the Ecosystem for Logistics & Warehouse management – Ideation and creation of a connected ecosystem for transporters, drivers, fleet management (for KO assets) and KO warehouse to enable efficient route planning, driving delivery and time efficiencies and creating a robust foundation for Primary and Secondary Freight for the business.
- Unified Operations Command – Build analytical capability to provide end to end visibility across supply chain and engage with business in building predictive and prescriptive analytics
Function Related Activities/Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the BIG Supply Chain leadership to develop annual IT budgets
- Roadmap and solution framework for retrofitting the critical machinery with IOT enabled solutions in all major plants
- Drive implementation of Line View and Infinity QS in all manufacturing plants
- Explore digital capabilities for driving efficiencies in freight and logistics – (Development of an open mobile based platform to allow external transporters and KO warehouse for dynamic and efficient routing)
- Develop solution concepts and business cases for new investments
- Perform business analysis and prepare recommendations and business plans as needed.
- Participate in establishing and documenting solutions architecture and technical design
- Create and analyze relevant information and develop recommendations to be presented to senior management. Improve the developer experience for product development teams
- Create shared vision of their respective solutions and facilitate decision making and arbitration relating to trade-offs both within and between different solution platforms UI/UX Design and development
- Develop and implement sound rationale for portfolio management and managing product phase-in-phase-out plans, proactively anticipating gaps and overlaps within the portfolio
- Create consensus with Supply Chain function as to the timing of solution introductions and withdrawals.
- Oversee the launch of solutions and help to maximize the positive impact on the organization. Ensure the potential value of the solutions is captured, optimized, and recognized.
- Collaborate with architecture and operations teams to ensure solution compatibility with company standards.
- Identify, screen, and evaluate new solution opportunities to address unmet (internal and external) customer needs.
- Lead, Drive and Embed IT enabled change in all markets
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in engineering (preferably Mechanical and Industrial),
- APICS certification,
- Advanced degree in computers/ electronics
Related Work Experience:
Shopfloor, IT consulting companies, Domain expertise in Manufacturing, Demand and Supply Planning, Experience in Mobile Solutions
Functional Skills: (Top 3-5 critical skills)
- End to end knowledge of supply chain covering planning, manufacturing & warehouse operations
- Knowledge of Industry 4.0 concepts and Industrial IoT
