Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- Experience in security assessment, implementation, optimization, application protection, controls, key management, data protection for cloud platforms, and compliance policies
- Experience implementing enterprise security solutions (e.g., controls, anti-DDoS, WAF, API Gateways, SIEM)
Preferred qualifications:
- Google Cloud Professional Security Engineer Certification
- Experience serving as Architect in a public cloud environment, or equivalent experience in a customer and/or partner-facing role (e.g., professional services, solutions architecture, engineering team)
- Experience working at, or closely with, GSI or consulting firms
- Ability to communicate compelling vision, architecture, and technical concepts
- Ability to learn, understand, and work with new and emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the cloud/IT technology space

In this role, you will work closely with Global Consulting and System Integration Partners Security Practice to drive our joint customer’s transformation to cloud-based security architectures. You will own the technical engagement around security with partners, guiding early Pilots and Proofs of Concept (POCs).

Responsibilities
- Recommend integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, and application migration and modernization approaches needed to successfully implement a complete solution; provide best practice guidance to Partners to optimize Google Cloud effectiveness
- Lead the life-cycle of agreements from business case, planning and governance, technical architecture, solution build, business modeling, and ensuring business cases are delivered to the end customer through Partners
- Support partners in application discovery, discovery analysis, creation of application move groups, and necessary steps for rapid migration to Google Cloud
- Drive to increase the capability and scale of the centers of excellence (COEs) with our GSIs
- Own the technical relationship with our partners, enabling them on Google Cloud solution offerings with the aim of serving as their trusted advisor for both pre- and post-business customer engagements
